Research Assistant - Across XMG Services and Practices
Responsibilities:
XMG is looking for 3 Research Assistants for the company’s core business of providing IT research, advisory and high-value consultancy to its clients. The 3 successful Research Assistants will provide research support either in XMG’s Intelligence and Data Services group (Market Intelligence [MI], Competitive and Competitor Intelligence [C&CI] and Performance Management and Benchmarking [PM&B] practices or XMG’s Management Services group’s Human Capital Management practice to ensure research objectives are met.
- Assist Analysts, Research Analysts and Researchers by providing research support on an ongoing basis.
- Liaise with other XMG units with regard to Research activities and projects (coordinate activities, exchange information for events and publications, and monitor progress reported by project personnel, etc.).
- Compile and store project documentation (project proposals, contracts, project plans, progress or status reports, minutes of meetings/contact reports, project financials, presentation materials, reports to clients, project references, meeting and FGD transcripts and recordings, and other project documentation, etc.).
- Compile and store contracts and engagement documentation for part-time and full-time Research Analysts and Analysts, as well as Interview and FGD respondents.
- Maintain (encode and update) the respondent and project databases.
- Liaise with external entities and clients with regard to research activities and projects and maintains communications constantly (set appointments, coordinates meetings, coordinate activities, and communicating progress and updates).
- Assists with drafting and editing of project reports and methodological reports as assigned.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
Ensure the Project Coordinator is regularly updated of the progress for research projects
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in:
- Business Studies/Administration/Management
- Mathematics/Statistics
- Sales & Marketing
- Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Experience in doing internet &/or field research.
- Must be adept in data gathering.
- Flexible, organized and responsible.
- Exceedingly good oral and written communication skills.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel and Access.
- Must be willing to work long hours to meet project deadlines.
- Outgoing personality and the ability to interact with people of all levels.
- Required language(s): English
- Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
- Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
